Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (RKMVU) was granted status of a deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India on5th January, 2005. The University intends to inculcate the best features of West and East in the education imparted by them. They are working on the principles of education as envisaged by the phenomenal saint Swami Vivekananda.

Types of Courses offered

The university offers the following two types of courses:
(1) Long Term Course
     Long Term course includes diploma, post-graduate diploma, graduation, post-graduation and research.

(2) Short Term Course
     Short Term course includes three-day orientation/refresher course, certificate course of six months duration.
