Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) offers education at UG, PG and PhD levels in the fields of Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Engineering.  For admission into an undergraduate course, a candidate should have passed Higher Secondary in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Admissions are made through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for undergraduate courses. For admission into postgraduate courses, the candidates should have passed Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. For admission into PhD courses, the candidates should have passed 2 years Masters’ Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Agriculture / Horticulture.
